Award winning Director Andrea Meyerson says Let’s Roll!

It’s an absolute privilege to be able to announce that multi Award Winning Director and Producer Andrea Meyerson will be directing our short movie and trailer project!

LA based Andrea, who has a body of work that includes over 30 feature films, television specials and series episodes, which have aired on Showtime, Viacom’s Logo Network and several Canadian networks, will be flying in to head up the amazing team who are coming together to start bringing the story of Gin And It to the screen.

And the project couldn’t be in better hands! Andrea’s live production experience includes work with some of the US’s most famous entertainers, including Roseanne Barr, Wanda Sykes , Brandi Carlile, Indigo Girls, K D Lang – and Joan Armatrading.

Andrea’s Documentaries have received more Awards on the Indie circuit than it’s possible to mention, with moving stories of some of the community’s most courageous and extraordinary people including I Stand Corrected and Anita’s Letters. Andrea’s most recent narrative short, Getting Started, is currently receiving accolades on the festival
circuit in the United States and she’s now working on a full feature screenplay.

Aside from an amazing career in entertainment, Andrea has done a huge amount to support women and the LGBTQ community and has been recognised with many Awards including YWCA’s “Women of Achievement Award,” the Women’s Image Network “WIN Outstanding Women Award,” the Human Rights Campaign’s “Local Hero Award.” and the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center’s L.A.C.E. (Lesbians Active in Community Empowerment) Award. She was honored by PowerUp as one of the “10 Amazing Women in Showbiz.” Andrea was also presented with the “Body of Work Award” by Pride of the Ocean LGBT Film Festival.

As if that wasn’t enough, Andrea also runs Women On A Roll, a travel and event company that takes groups on tours all over the world.
